| In the above screen select the amount to pay for the part year. Note the following

The percentage has defaulted to 8%, based on the 4 weeks annual entitlement.
- If the entitlement was 5 weeks, the percentage would have defaulted to 10%.
- This may or may not be what is required.
Section 23 of the Holidays Act 2003 requires 8%, but an employment contract may provide for a greater amount.
- The employee start date, last anniversary date, and gross earnings since the
last anniversary date are shown in the help message to assist with a manual calculation if required.
- An itemised report of the gross earnings since last anniversary is available from a link on the screen shown in step 1.

If an amount had previously been entered in the dialog, the selection would have defaulted to Selected Amount.
