Can I get legal aid to take a case to the Employment Tribunal?

Answer

Legal aid is available for cases in both the Employment Court and Tribunal.

However, it is means tested and you must meet the eligibility criteria set out in the application form.

Your solicitor must also certify to the Legal Services Board that your case has a reasonable prospect of success.
